EL is pleased to announce the opening of the submission period of the EL Innovation Awards 2024, a celebration of the best lottery innovation success stories of the past two years.
With rapid technological advancements and an ever-changing landscape, there is a wealth of opportunity for lottery innovation. This year’s edition of the Awards will no doubt prove this!
The deadline to submit case studies in 14 July 2024.
What to expect:
- Showcasing lottery innovation: EL Regular Lottery members are invited to submit up to four examples of their innovation successes achieved within their lottery, implemented between 2022 and 2024 (under conditions). From new products to an improved customer journey, EL welcomes submissions from all aspects of lottery operations.
- Celebrating innovation success: The Award Ceremony will take place during the EL Innovation Seminar from 9-11 October 2024 in Rotterdam, hosted by Nederlandse Loterij.
Why participate:
- Gain recognition for your lottery's innovative success: The top ten winners will have the unique opportunity to showcase their success story during the EL Innovation Seminar 2024.
- Networking opportunities: The top three prize winners will have the chance to attend a future EL Seminar of their choice with two participants for free (hotel fees covered by EL), with the opportunity to meet other lottery professionals from around the world.
How to participate?
Submit your entries to the official Innovation Awards platform and follow the simple steps to upload your submission(s). The deadline for entries is 14 July 2024.
What are the entry requirements?
Innovation submissions are not limited to a particular area of a lottery's operations. They can range from a new product to an improved customer journey.
Conditions:
- Open to EL Regular Lottery Members only.
- Innovation implemented between 2022 and 2024.
- A lottery can submit up to four innovations.
- Submissions in English only.
What is the judging process?
A dedicated jury will assess submissions against a specific criteria (available on the online platform). The official award ceremony will take place during the EL Innovation Seminar 2024.
- The top 10 will receive an Innovation Award certificate.
- The top 3 submissions will be awarded with a trophy during a special ceremony.
What does it cost to enter?
The entry fee is 500 EUR for the first submission. The fee for additional submissions is 250 EUR (four submissions maximum).
Entry fees must be received by close of business (CET) on 14 July 2024. Every submission is binding, any refund of the entry fee is excluded.
